Terbicip Cream Dosage - How to Apply Terbinafine Hydrochloride Cream?
Generic Terbinafine Hydrochloride Cream should be used exactly as suggested by your doctor. Your doctor may suggest a dosage depending on your medical condition, age, body weight, other medical conditions, and other current medications. Terbinafine Hydrochloride Cream should be applied only to the affected areas of skin, usually twice daily or as suggested by your doctor for about 4 weeks.
Before applying Terbinafine Hydrochloride Cream, wash the affected area with warm and mild soap and dry them thoroughly. Gently rub Terbicip Cream into the area of treatment until the cream is uniformly spread. Wash your hands immediately after using Terbinafine Hydrochloride Cream. Avoid sensitive areas like the area around the eyes, lips, and nostrils while applying Terbinafine HCl Cream. Terbinafine Hydrochloride Cream should be applied only on the skin. Adult patients using Terbinafine Hydrochloride Cream for the treatment of jock itch, athlete's foot, and ringworm should apply a thin layer of Terbinafine Hydrochloride Cream and gently rub it into the site of treatment and adjoining skin area twice daily.
In case of treatment for athlete's foot, patients should avoid applying Terbinafine Hydrochloride Cream on moist skin by making it a point to wash and dry the feet thoroughly, especially the area between the toes, before applying Terbinafine Hydrochloride Cream.
For foot infections, make sure you dry your feet thoroughly (especially between the toes) and use shoes which have a good fit on your feet and has appropriate ventilation. It would also be helpful to wear socks made up cotton or wool to enhance treatment results and to prevent recurrence of infections.
Patients should continue the treatment with Terbinafine Hydrochloride Cream for the prescribed treatment period even if the symptoms have cleared.

Missed Dose
If you miss your regular dose of Terbinafine Hydrochloride Cream, apply it as soon as you remember. You can continue your regular schedule the next day. If you remember the missed dose of Terbinafine Hydrochloride Cream the next day, apply the cream as per your regular dosing schedule and skip the missed dose.
Do not administer a double dose to compensate the missed dose of Terbinafine Hydrochloride Cream.

Clinical experience regarding overdose with Lamisil® is limited. Doses up to 5 grams of Terbinafine Hydrochloride have been taken without inducing serious adverse reactions.
The symptoms of overdose associated with oral Terbinafine Hydrochloride included nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, dizziness, rash, urinary frequency and headache. There has been no experience of overdose with topical formulations of Terbinafine.
