Foracort Inhaler Dosage - How to Use Budesonide Formoterol Inhaler?
Generic Budesonide and Formoterol Fumarate Inhaler should be administered exactly as suggested by your doctor. Budesonide and Formoterol Fumarate Inhaler should be administered at evenly spaced time intervals between the time you wake up in the morning and the time you go to bed. If your doctor has prescribed a dosage of 2 puffs, you must wait at least one minute between each puff. To prevent the development of side effects such as dry mouth, hoarseness, and oral yeast infections, fill your mouth with water and rinse it out after each dosage. In adolescents between the ages of 12-17 years, the recommended dosage of Foracort Inhaler is 1-2 inhalations, administered twice daily. In children between the ages of 6-11 years, the recommended dosage of Foracort 100 is 2 inhalations, administered twice daily. Children below the age of 6 years are advised against the use of Foracort Inhaler for the treatment of asthma.
For COPD
The recommended dosage of Foracort Inhaler in patients above the age of 18 years and older is 2 inhalations of Foracort 100 (Formoterol Fumarate 6mcg + Budesonide 200 mcg), administered twice daily.

Missed Dose

Medical History

Side Effects of Foracort Inhaler

- Central Nervous System- headache, nervousness, trouble sleeping, fainting, dizziness, headache, light headedness, seizures, vision changes, slurred speech
- Respiratory System- nasopharyngitis, upper respiratory tract infection, pharygolaryngeal pain, sinusitis, nasal congestion, bronchitis, throat irritation, unusual hoarseness, increased mucus production or change in color of mucus, wheezing
- Gastrointestinal System- stomach discomfort, vomiting, oral candidiasis, dry mouth, nausea, increased thirst/ urination/hunger, white patches in your mouth or throat
- Musculoskeletal System- back pain, pain in joints, muscle pain
- Hypersensitivity- rash, hives, itching/swelling (especially of the face/tongue/throat), severe dizziness, trouble breathing, tightness in the chest, skin redness
