Ciprofloxacin belongs to a class of antibiotics called fluoroquinolones. Ciprofloxacin HCl tablets are administered for the treatment of eye infection, ear infections, tooth infection, chest infection, prostate infection, digestive system infection, bone and joint infections.
Ciprofloxacin HCl tablets are used for the effective treatment and prevention of individuals who have suffered an anthrax exposure. Generic Ciprofloxacin HCl pills effectively treat bacterial infections by killing the bacteria which cause the infection.

Patients with bone infections may need to continue the course of treatment with Ciprofloxacin HCl tablets for a period of at least 3 months to obtain effective therapeutic results.
Ciprofloxacin HCl tablets for urinary tract infections (UTI)
The recommended dosage for the treatment of mild to moderate urinary tract infections 250 mg of Ciprofloxacin HCl tablets, administered twice daily. For severe and complicated infections, the optimal dosage is found to be 500 mg Ciprofloxacin Hydrochloride tablets, administered twice daily.
Ciprofloxacin HCl tablets for infectious diarrhea
The recommended dosage for the treatment of infectious diarrhea is 500 mg of Ciprofloxacin HCl tablets, administered twice daily.

Continue taking Ciprofloxacin Hydrochloride tablets for the recommended treatment period without missing any doses because this may result in antibiotic resistance. Do not stop the treatment temporarily even if you feel that your symptoms have cleared because your symptoms may reduce even before the infection clears.
Ciprofloxacin Hydrochloride tablets cannot be used for the treatment of viral infections such as common cold and flu.
Missed Dose
