Carbamazepine Dosage - How to Take Tegrital Tablets?

Carbamazepine tablets should be administered exactly as suggested by your doctor. Your doctor may recommend a dosage of Carbamazepine tablets depending on your age, medical requirement, body weight, other medical conditions, and current medications.
Carbamazepine tablets should be swallowed with a glass of water. Tegrital tablets can be administered one to three times a day, before or after a meal. Contraindications

Tegrital Tablets - Driving and Other Activities
Carbamazepine tablets may make you light-headed or impair your vision. Avoid activities such as driving, using machinery, or performing any activity that requires complete vigilance or perfect vision until you are sure about your safety.
Tegrital CR Tablets and Birth Control
Carbamazepine can reduce the effectiveness of birth control pills and implants. During the course of Carbamazepine tablets, women are advised to practice barrier form of birth control such as condom, diaphragm, along with spermicide to prevent the occurrence of pregnancy.
Live Vaccinations, Surgery and Regular Medical Tests
If you plan to have live vaccinations, surgery or any dental procedure, inform your doctor, anesthetist, or dentist about your course of Carbamazepine tablets.
