Omeprazole Magnesium Dosage - How to Take Omez Capsules? - Dosage

Omeprazole Capsules should be administered exactly as suggested by your doctor. Your doctor may recommend a dosage of Omeprazole Magnesium Capsules depending on your age, medical requirement, body weight, other medical conditions, and current medications.
The recommended dosage of Omeprazole Capsules is 20 mg, administered once daily. Omeprazole Capsules should be swallowed with a glass of water, usually once daily, one hour before a meal. Contraindications

Overdose

Reports have been received of overdosage with Omeprazole in humans. Doses ranged up to 2400 mg (120 times the usual recommended clinical dose).
Manifestations were variable, but included confusion, drowsiness, blurred vision, tachycardia, nausea, vomiting, diaphoresis, flushing, headache, dry mouth, and other adverse reactions similar to those seen in normal clinical experience.
