Cipla Rotahaler - Product Information
Cipla Rotahaler is a plastic inhalation device which can be used along with all Cipla Rotacaps. Rotacaps are pre-measured single dose powdered medication in the form of capsules, intended for inhalation and not for oral administration. When Rotacap medications are placed in a Rotahaler, they are crushed into a powdered form which can be easily inhaled. On inhalation, the contents of the Rotahaler are directly carried to the airways, which is primarily suitable for respiratory illnesses.
A Rotahaler is a breath activated device i.e. on inhalation, the Rotahaler discharges the medication from the Rotacap. When the Rotahaler is placed in the mouth and the contents inhaled properly, the medication has a better probability to spread even to the smaller airways in the lungs, thus enhancing the efficacy of the medication. Rotahaler is a widely popular inhalation treatment due to its many advantages such as portable dimensions, efficiency and accessibility. Rotahalers are economical and also easy-to-use for efficient drug delivery to the lungs.
Cipla Rotahaler can be used along with various Rotacaps manufactured by Cipla Ltd. such as Duolin Rotacaps, Foracort Rotacaps, Foratec Rotacaps, Seroflo Rotacaps, Asthalin Rotacaps (Albuterol Rotacaps), Tiova Rotacaps (Tiotropium Bromide Rotacaps).
