Budesonide Dosage - How to Take Budenase Aqueous Nasal Spray?

Budesonide Nasal Spray should be administered exactly as suggested by your doctor. Medical History

Budesonide Nasal Spray is known to have drug interactions with certain other medications. Please inform your doctor if you are Clarithromycin, erythromycin (E.E.S., E-Mycin, Ery-Tab, Erythrocin), troleandomycin (Tao), imidazoles (eg, ketoconazole), hormonal contraceptives (eg, birth control pills), or mifepristone; Barbiturates (eg, phenobarbital), carbamazepine, hydantoins (eg, phenytoin), or rifampin; Live vaccines, mifepristone, or ritodrine; Hydantoins (eg, phenytoin); HIV /AIDS medicine such as nelfinavir (Viracept) or ritonavir (Norvir); an antifungal medication such as itraconazole (Sporanox); an "SSRI" antidepressant such as fluoxetine (Prozac), fluvoxamine (Luvox), or paroxetine (Paxil); or a tricyclic antidepressant such as amitriptyline (Elavil, Etrafon), amoxapine (Ascendin), clomipramine (Anafranil), desipramine (Norpramin), doxepin (Sinequan), imipramine (Janimine, Tofranil), nortriptyline (Pamelor), protriptyline (Vivactil), or trimipramine (Surmontil).

Budesonide Nasal Spray Contraindications

Budenase Aqueous Nasal Spray is contraindicated in patients with a known hypersensitivity to Budesonide or any inactive ingredient present in Budenase Aqueous Nasal Spray.

Budesonide and Alcohol

Avoid or limit the consumption of alcohol during the treatment with Generic Budesonide Nasal Spray (Budenase Aqueous Nasal Spray) because it may increase the risk of certain side effects.

Budesonide Nasal Spray – Driving and Other Activities

Budesonide Nasal Spray may make you light-headed or impair your vision. Avoid activities such as driving, using machinery, or performing any activity that requires complete vigilance or perfect vision until you are sure about your safety.

Budesonide Nasal Spray during Pregnancy and Breastfeeding

Budesonide Nasal Spray is a Pregnancy Category B medication. It is not known if the administration of Budenase Aqueous Nasal Spray causes any harm to the unborn baby.
It is not known if Budesonide is transmitted through breast milk and if it may harm the nursing baby. Pregnant women and nursing mothers should consult their doctor before using Budesonide Nasal Spray for the treatment of their nasal allergy symptoms.

Live Vaccinations, Surgery and Regular Medical Tests

If you plan to have live vaccinations, surgery or any dental procedure, inform your doctor, anesthetist, or dentist about your course of Budesonide Nasal Spray.
